volunroot(8) System Manager's Manual volunroot(8) NAME volunroot - Remove Logical Storage Manager (LSM) hooks for rootable volumes SYNOPSIS /usr/sbin/volunroot [-a] DESCRIPTION The volunroot script causes the root and swap file systems to be con- verted back into being accessible directly through disk partitions in- stead of through volume devices. Other changes made to ensure the booting of the system from the root volume are also removed such that the system will boot with no dependency on the Logical Storage Manager. A system reboot is required for the changes to take effect. Any mirror copies of the boot disk will cause the operation to fail. Mirrors should be removed using volplex or voledit prior to executing this command. FLAGS Specifies that all volumes on the system disk be converted back to UNIX disk partitions, not just the root and swap volumes, rootvol and swapvol.
