NAME
dxarchiver - Stores and retrieves files in disk and tape archives
SYNOPSIS
/usr/bin/X11/dxarchiver [toolkitoptions...]
OPTIONS
The Archiver application accepts all of the standard X Toolkit command
line options, which are documented in the OPTIONS section in the X(1X)
reference page.
The following list documents selected X Toolkit options. Specifies the
color to use for the window background. Specifies the display screen
on which dxarchiver displays its window. If the display option is not
specified, dxarchiver uses the display screen specified by your DISPLAY
environment variable. The display option has the format hostname:num-
ber. The default value is :0. For more information, see the X(1X) ref-
erence page. Performs the same function as the -d option. Specifies
the color to use for the window foreground.
DESCRIPTION
Use Archiver, dxarchiver, to: Copy and store multiple files to a sin-
gle, named archive file or output device such as a tape or floppy disk
Uncompress incoming archive files and compress newly created files Re-
trieve stored files from an archive file or device such as a tape or
floppy disk
To start dxarchiver from the graphical user interface: Click on the Ap-
plication Manager icon on the CDE front panel. Double click on the
System_Admin application group icon. Double click on the DailyAdmin
application group icon. Double click on the Archiver application icon.
